On a cool Wednesday morning our whole school boarded the bus and headed to the big city! first stop was the Botanic Gardens and Planetarium to observe the projected Australian sky under a dome. We then set of to iFly at Chermside where the students took a turn at flying in a wind tunnel! Our second day was packed full of exciting activities starting with a behind the scenes tour of The Suncorp Stadium, then moving on to the ScienceCentre, Queensland Museum and over to King George Square. At the end of the day we spent our final evening of 2 back at Brookfield with a pool party and movie. Day 3 we travelled to Manly where we boared the "Inspiration" to complete IMPACT science experiments by looking at the marine life with a GoPro. We stepped back in time as walked around St. Helema Island visiting the ruins of the first Jail. The exhausted 18 students jumped back on the bus and headed home over the mountains back to the country on Friday.
