Pilton State School is a small rural school situated in the beautiful Pilton Valley about 20 kilometres west of Clifton. Established in 1913, the school celebrated its centenary October 12, 2013. The school has an enrolment of 20 students who work in two classes, Prep to Year 2 and Years 3 to 6.

In 2017, Pilton State School commenced operating as an Independent Public School, which enables it to undertake educational activities that provide excellent opportunities for our students.

The school does not appoint students to specific leadership roles. Rather, all Year 6 students are tasked with the obligations of being a school leader as the school wants to develop the potential of all.

As well as the two classrooms, the school has a separate library, a STEAM Shed (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), a covered and floodlit multi-purpose court and two playgrounds. All buildings are air-conditioned and classrooms are well resourced.

You are welcome to call in at any time and view our wonderful school in operation.
